Jacksonville Home Sales Start to Pick Up...

For the past 4 months, not only have Jacksonville home sales picked up the pace a bit in terms of sheer volume, but prices have also been rising rather steadily. To put things in a better perspective, we are still underperforming when compared to the market this time a year ago. Nevertheless, the trend is somewhat encouraging.

Perhaps the busiest segment of the market of detached single family homes remains the "first time homebuyer" segment, that is, homes priced between $100,000 and $150,000. If you are a buyer looking to buy in this category, you may find, depending on what area of town in which you are looking, that you have a lot of brisk competition! Mandarin remains desirable, as does the Fort Caroline area and the Southside. You have to be strategic if want to be successful as you search for a home to purchase in these segments, and you have to have a game plan. Call today and we will be happy to explain how we can find you a home, and get you to closing in 30 days or less, or pay you $500.
